The Chief of Defence Forces and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has appointed Dr. Ruth Aceng as the female administrator of the MK Fund.

In a brief statement, Gen. Muhoozi confirmed the appointment, saying: “The female administrator on the MK Fund is Hon. Ruth Aceng.”

The move signals the continued formation of the MK Fund’s leadership structure as Ugandans await official guidelines on how the fund will operate, including application procedures and rules governing disbursement.

Dr. Aceng’s appointment is expected to strengthen the administrative team overseeing the initiative, which has generated wide public interest since its announcement.
