Gen Muhoozi Discusses Military Cooperation with British Defence Attaché

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of UPDF, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba met with Lt Col Ash Wiseman, the British Defence Attaché to Uganda, discussing areas of mutual interest.

The meeting at the Special Forces Command headquarters in Entebbe focused on enhancing military cooperation between Uganda and the United Kingdom.

The two military leaders explored ways to build on existing relations and to strengthen their partnership on regional and international security issues.

The UK and Uganda have a long history of military cooperation, with the UK providing training and capacity-building support to the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF). 

The two countries have also collaborated on peace support operations and regional security initiatives.

Gen Kainerugaba’s leadership has been instrumental in fostering military ties between Uganda and the UK. 

As a Sandhurst graduate, he has played a key role in strengthening the military relationship between the two nations.

The meeting between Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba and Lt Col Ash Wiseman underscores the commitment of both nations to enhance their military cooperation and promote regional stability.
